‘Kusama: Infinity’

“Kusama: Infinity” will be shown on select dates through Mar. 1 at the Institute of Contemporary Art, 25 Harbor Shore Dr.

The film explores artist Yayoi Kusam’s journey from a conservative upbringing in Japan to her brush with fame in American during the 1960s (where she rivaled Any Warhol for press attention) and concludes with the international acclaim she has finally achieved within the art world. Now in her 90s, Kusama has spent the last 30 years living in a mental institution in Japan.

The “Beyond Infinity: Contemporary Art after Kusama” exhibition will be on view through Feb. 7.

Made in Fort Point

The Made in Fort Point store at 315 A St. is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The store sells and exhibits art, craft and design of more than 75 Fort Point Arts Community members and hosts special events and community meetings. Visitors can find paintings, jewelry, prints, photography, ceramics, furniture, lighting, artists’ books, wearables, greeting cards and more, all made by local artists.

HUZZAH! Tavern Nights

HUZZAH! Tavern Nights – Boston’s only colonial tavern experience – will be held the first Friday of the month at Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum at 306 Congress St. (on Congress Street Bridge).

Revel with Sam Adams, John Hancock, Dorothy Quincy and other prominent Bostonians as they lift their glasses in celebration, raise their voices in song and determine the fate of Colonial America. Sample rustic fare, play authentic games, learn boisterous songs and cheerful dance in a spirited colonial tavern atmosphere.

From April through October, the doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. From November through March the doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
