‘Holiday Open House’

“A Holiday Open House for Kids and Teens” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the French Cultural Center, 53 Marlborough St.

Looking for some festive family fun? Stop by the Center and take part in some holiday activities for ages, 1 through 17. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Center, sample their children’s classes, and celebrate the season with story time, arts and crafts, and tasty treats. Plus, visual artist A’Key will give a special painting workshop for kids.

All activities are free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but activity registration is required as space is limited.

Boston Mosaic Concert

The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and Youth Orchestra will present a Boston Mosaic Concert from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Newsfeed Café at Boston Public Library in Copley Square.

Interact with the musicians, ask questions about the music, and get a chance to play an instrument at this free, fun, fresh and educational musical experience.

Candlelight Carols

The Candlelight Carols services at Trinity Church Boston, 206 Clarendon St. will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

A beloved annual tradition since 1909, candlelight carols, offered by the Trinity Choirs with organ, harp, and brass ensemble, celebrates the birth of Christ through readings, carols, anthems and hymns of the season.

These services are free with open seating – free will offering suggested. Doors open one hour before scheduled start; Prelude begins 30 minutes before starting time. Lines form in Copley Square prior to the doors opening.

BCT: ‘The Snow Must Go On’

The Boston Children’s Theatre will present the holiday performance of “The Snow Must Go On” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Old South Church, 645 Boylston St.
